A fine performance from Natalie Portman: blood, sweat, tears, and sex. The movie portrays an obsessed and psychologically bent ballet dancer who scores the lead in “Swan Lake” but must confront her own psychosis.
The movie does well to portray the obsessive-compulsive behavior of a woman in her position. The plot is tied inextricably to the performance of “Swan Lake” in the movie and was well orchestrated from beginning to end.
